Seoul’s TimeSquare! (Gangnam station)

If you’re Korean, I’m quite sure where Gangnam station is.

Gangnam station is a popular place for youngs to enjoy their cultural life.

Movies, shoppings, snacks, cafes and everything!

Gangnam station is mostly like NewYork’s timesquare!

↑First photo is the view of exit to the outside of Gangnam station, it’s all about outside but inside you can enjoy your trend shopping!

Other photos are the view of the streets and tall buildings.  See the tall black poles in the second photo? those are called ‘media pole’. With this interesting pole, you can search a map where you want to go, read some news, take a picture or play games! This pole is a real omnipotent one, right?

↑ Inside the Gangnam station, you can satisfy yourself with a lot of beautiful clothes.

Oh! I almost forgot, Gangnam station is also well-known for it cellular phone shops. There are countless numbers of shops selling Korea’s high-technology phones. I’m sure many of you know Korea’s phone is very popular!

Lovely Brunch

Today, I visited Seorae village with my Seoul Breeze reporter friend Hyeonjeong.

Walking through the village, we got into a cafe named, ‘Red Brick’

We had a lovely brunch and had fun time enjoying in Seorae village.

Seoul’s Beverly Hills (Seorae village)

In the States, many of the rich and hollywood stars live around the Beverly Hills.

In Korea on the other hand, lots of celebrities and the rich are living at Seorae village with their imposing mansions.

Seorae village is located in Bangbaedong, Seoul. (Bangbaedong is where I live )

Let me show you the views from the Seorae village.

↑ This picture shows the path through entering the Seorae village. (It was freezing cold!!)

↑Seorae village is renowned for it’s beautiful cafes. There are countless numbers of chic and trendy cafes.

It’s like walking through the roads in romantic country France. Soon you’ll find out why I’m saying this.

↑ There are many French people residing in this area.

The reason for this is in 1985, French school was built in Seorae village and from that time French people started to join together in this area. In the picture you can see the French primary school, it’s quite different comparing to Korean schools.

↑ Like I said, Seorae village is Korean version of Beverly Hills.

Those are the logos to the fabulous mansions. And let’s see the mansions we’re talking about!

↑ It might not impress the people who’s from huge land such as Australia, Canada or any.

But Korea has a very small territory so the land price is hard to imagine. So owning that kind of house in Korea is a huge privilege for the rich.

Many celebrities and politicians are knowned to live in this area.

SO! If you want to visit around this Korean beverly Hills, why don’t you visit Seoul?
