Gwanghwamun Square

Right in the center of a highroad beside the cityhall, there is a long, grand square.

It is called, Gwanghwamun Square(광화문광장). Let’s take a look!

↑ Entering the Gwanghwamun Square, there is a named copper plate.

↑ Can you see the splendid statue of admiral Yisunsin.

He is one of the most respected heroes in the Korean history.

↑ Here is another statue of our history’s hero, Sejong the great king.

He is well known for creating Hangeul.

↑ On the side of King Sejong’s statue, there is an example of our proud Hangeul.

↑ On the both sides of the square, there is a beautiful fountain.

It’s much more gorgeous in the night with all the glowing lights.

↑Walking through the square, we can see the exquisite view of all those flowers.

and Can you see that weird but also cute looking animal? It’s name is Hatchi.

Hatchi is a symbol character of Seoul.

It looks a little weird(haha) but come on, it’s grass. Nothing can look good in grass, right??

So these were the views of Gwanghwamun Square. I’m sure you find this attractive enough to visit!
