Seoul is throwing a grand festival!
At Gwanghwamun square, we can find the most romantic and gorgeous views.
Let’s have a look!!!
↑ First photo is the view of Illumination and Passage of Lights.
Illumination is a light installation embodying Korean traditional patterns is placed above Haechi Madang to create a special photo zone.
Second photo is the view of King Sejong’s statue and media tower.
Media tower zone presents Korean traditional contents including the Korean alphabet and traditional patterns.
Last one is the view of the beautiful Gwanghwamun square from a distance. Isn’t it just so glorious?

Moving images of light are projected on the facades of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts and KT building. Seoul’s 600 years of history and tradition harbored by Gwanghwamun Square unfolds through beautiful panoramic images illustrating the city’s past, present and future. The media performance, in an unprecedented scale, fills the Gwanghwamun Square with the luster of culture and communication!
Last to photos are called Symphony of Lights. The outstanding classical music of Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, led by its world-renowned music director Maestro Chung Myung-Whun, further progresses in a state-of-the-art screen music concert utilizing the Media facade.

Chamber of Lights
Nowadays Seoul is throwing a grand festival named, ‘Festival of Lights’
Seoul is a delightful city and what I’m trying to introduce here is ‘room of lights’
↑ This is the entrance to the light room.
all those colorful lights are called zipper pipe. Isn’t it fabulous?
↑ This is the view of inside the room.
First one is very creative if you sit on the special made chair, the light is on. It is so fun!
Second one is really interesting. If you go near the lights, it makes a funny shadow with our body.
Third one is named Fly high, and it makes such a glorious lights.
In the chamber of lights, media artist’s works are displayed in the open square offering a chance for visitors to easily and personally enjoy works of media art that may have seemed difficult or distant.
